| | | | | | | | STATEMENT OF ISSUE | The City Council is being asked to approve the appointments as follows:
Youth Commission
Filling vacant seat
Term 1/1/2021 – 12/31/2022

Planning Commission
Filling expired seats
Term 7/1/2021 – 6/30/2025
1. Shawn Smith
2. Tina Werblin
Rockville Hills Regional Park Citizen Advisory Committee (RCAC)
Filling unexpired seat
Term 1/1/2019 – 12/31/2022

| | | | | | | | DISCUSSION | Four seats are available on the Youth Commission for a two-year term of January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2022.
Councilmembers Panduro and Moy, along with the Youth Commission interview liaison, Sara Lodin, interviewed one applicant on May 26, 2021. The applicant was recommended for appointment and the recommendation was submitted to Mayor Harry Price for consideration.
The Planning Commission has two seats available with new terms of July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2025. Councilmembers Panduro and Moy interviewed six applicants on May 26, 2021. Three applicants were recommended for appointment and the recommendation was submitted to Mayor Harry Price for consideration. Mayor Price made the final recommendation for the two seats.
One seat is available on the Rockville Hills Regional Park Citizen Advisory Committee, due to a resignation, to fill an unexpired term of January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2022.
Councilmembers Panduro and Moy interviewed two applicants on May 26, 2021. One applicant was recommended for appointment and the recommendation was submitted to Mayor Harry Price for consideration.
Mayor Price has agreed with the recommendations provided today.
