SUBJECT:Resolution 2021-06 of the City Council of the City of Fairfield Accepting the Villages at Fairfield - Linear Park Improvements as Complete

RECOMMENDED ACTION 
Adopt resolution.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE 
The resolution accepts the Villages at Fairfield - Linear Park Improvements as complete, located between Clay Bank Road and Portland Drive.
DISCUSSION
Rancho Tolenas Corp. has completed all of the required improvements for the Villages at Fairfield Linear Park improvements in accordance with the Improvement Agreement approved by the City Council on July 16, 2019, by Resolution No. 2019-175.

Staff has inspected the improvements and found them to be complete in accordance with City standards and the requirements of the Improvement Agreement. The resolution accepts the improvements as being complete, except for the obligation of Rancho Tolenas Corp. to repair or reconstruct defective work for a period of one year after final acceptance.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
On-going maintenance for this section of the Linear Park will be funded by Landscaping and Lighting District (LLMD) No. 14 – Woodlake (Fund 086). Pursuant to Resolution No. 91-213B, the General Fund (Fund 011) will contribute 50%, or approximately $15,321, to LLMD No. 14 for the costs of maintaining arterial median landscaping, which has been determined as a general public benefit.
