SUBJECT:Resolution 2020-138 of the City Council of the City of Fairfield Approving the Response to the 2019-2020 Solano County Grand Jury Report Entitled, “Fairfield Measure P”
RECOMMENDED ACTION 
Adopt resolution.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE 

The subject Solano Grand Jury Report was issued on May 22, 2020 and requires a response by the City no later than Monday, August 17, 2020.  A response, to be signed by the City Manager, is attached.

DISCUSSION

The Grand Jury investigated how Measure P revenues are collected and spent and how the Fairfield Taxpayer Committee performs its oversight function. Penal Code Section 933 prescribes the format and timeframe for responses to Grand Jury reports.  A copy of the City’s responses is attached.
