FROM:

Stefan T. Chatwin, Executive Director

SUBJECT:Resolution SA2020-01 of the Successor Agency to the Fairfield Redevelopment Agency Authorizing Execution of the Green Valley II Parcel Map

RECOMMENDED ACTION
Adopt resolution.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE
In order to facilitate the sale and development of property within Green Valley Corporate Park, the Successor Agency to the Fairfield Redevelopment Agency (SA) proposes to create three parcels on Successor Agency property by filing a parcel map.
DISCUSSION
The SA owns a 13.31-acre parcel of land situated southerly and easterly of Business Center Drive, within Green Valley Corporate Park. A parcel map will create three parcels that comply with the Subdivision Map Act. The City of Fairfield intends to acquire one of the parcels, a 1.56-acre site, for a future fire station. Another parcel will be developed as an apartment complex.

The proposed parcel map conforms to the tentative parcel map approved May 21, 2020. Adoption of the attached resolution will authorize execution of this parcel map and the necessary appurtenant easements, which is in accordance with the Development Agreement for this land. Staff supports approval of this resolution.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
There are direct costs for the Successor Agency to the Fairfield Redevelopment Agency in connection with recordation of this parcel map of approximately $1000. The approval of this map will help prepare this property for sale and development, generating revenue for the City.
