| | | | | | | | | STATEMENT OF ISSUE | In light of the updated Countywide Mutual Aid Matrix, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2020-37 to mutually terminate the auto aid agreement with Suisun Fire Protection District with the understanding that the Suisun Fire Protection District would resolve to do the same. The City has since determined that a unilateral notice of termination to end the auto aid agreement with Suisun Fire Protection District is necessary. |

| | | | | | | | | DISCUSSION | The Suisun Fire Protection District now desires a unilateral notice of termination to align with the unilateral notice of termination approved in Resolution No. 2020-37 between the City of Fairfield and the Cordelia Fire Protection District. Both radio frequencies will continue to be monitored and in the spirit of cooperation, assistance is still easily requested when warranted.
